Christopher Brown is a performing and recording artist. Chris’s stylistic range includes, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Funk, Reggae, and Ska. Current bands are: The Chris Brown Trio, The Attractors, Fat and Gristle Blues Band, John Frazee Trio, Shane Allessio Band, and Riki Rocksteady All Stars. Chris’s dynamic performances can be seen in NYC, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Currently, he can be heard at venues such as: Beehive, Plough and Stars, Stomping Grounds, Drift, Parlour, Fiction Café, Lilypad, and The Midway. His recent album releases are On Pointe, Love Bombs, and Everything and Nothing. He has performed with Dion Knibb, and opened for The Slackers and Lee “Scratch” Perry.
Christopher grew up in Newton, Ma listening to Freddie King, Buddy Guy, and Magic Sam. He graduated from Berklee College of Music where he studied Wes Montgomery, Grant Green, George Benson, and Charlie Parker. Chris now resides in Dedham, Ma. Where he continues to teach and perform throughout New England.
